The Velvet Burn is a hybrid zine and battle ground. With the posted theme, readers are asked to submit a haiku (or Senryƫ or whatever you want to call it, as long as it's 5/7/5). The winner picks the next theme. Put your haiku in the comments and you may have the honor of winning the haiku wars.
bring on the game then if you dare to battle me haiku to the death
The Velvet Burn began with a simple war, by no means the simplest, but a war none the less, and though there was a victor, the battles would not cease. This will remain as a testament.
